Are store credit cards worth it?
A store card is useful when the additional rewards at stores you already use exceed its fees and the effort of carrying another card. Ordinary retailer loyalty points are not extra credit-card rewards.

What to check
- Store spending is part of your category totals, not additional spending.
- Separate a warehouse store from its gas station: they can have different reward rates and acceptance rules.
- Compare the whole wallet after fees. Do not add several standalone card estimates together.
Start with the stores you use
Upload statements to identify merchant spending. Review any uncertain matches, then compare your everyday card with a store-card wallet. The “Use these cards together” view assigns each purchase once and includes every selected card's fee.
